4 months agoChoosing Kerr Robichaux & Carroll Law Office was the smartest and best decision I could have made when wanting to win a social security disability claim. I tried another firm once before and with that was no success and because it was such a bad experience for me it unfortunately left me skeptical to try any other firm, but I did and Kerr Robichaux & Carroll Law Office is the one that I chose and I'm glad that I took my chances with Kerr Robichaux & Carroll Law Office because they made the whole process so much of a better experience for me. I appreciate how well they communicated with me during every step in this process and I really appreciated how I didn't have to do too much of anything because they handled almost everything for me. I had received a favorable outcome on my disability case proving to me that choosing this firm was the right thing to do. I've read other reviews about this firm where customers weren't satisfied but I strongly suggest that you just talk to them and explain your situation at hand because with my experience with this firm I can't see them not caring about any situation in regards to any of their customers. Mr James and Pablo and everybody else at the firm were amazing and I thank you for everything that you guys did. I don't think I could have done this without you and to anyone else out there that's looking for a firm to help them with their disability case , you should give Kerr Robichaux & Carroll Law Office a try. I strongly recommend that you do. I don't think they'll disappoint you. Like I said it was the smartest decision I made.

6 months agoEDIT: James did call me back and spent a considerable amount of time reviewing the decision with me. I'm appreciative of that and is more in line with what I was expecting from the firm. I have filed originally almost 3 years ago and was denied. We appealed and was denied again. To top it all off, I just finally had a chance to read the decision and it's quite obvious that an insane amount of medical history never made it to the judge. James Edmunds apologized to me about the letter that my primary care physician wrote never getting entered as evidence, but there were extremely serious issues like advanced diabetes and kidney failure that never met the desk of the judge either. I, like most people whom left a review here, have not gotten a return call but once. I've only talked to my actual attorney 3 times in 3 years and we're having to appeal the decision again. Should I just find a different attorney before I lose all of my working credits? I should be on SSDI by now with around 2500 a month to live on due to how hard I've worked my entire life. I'll give an update or edit if things change, but the appeal itself is time-sensitive and I doubt that I can wait to find a different attorney considering that this one doesn't return my calls despite me doing a majority of the legwork for them already.

a month agoThis place is a joke. Called and started a claim and set me up for a phone interview for 8/27 with SSI. I called 8/23 to get help changing my contact number with social security for the phone interview. And because I had this place help me. someone got upset they had to work and they pushed my phone interview to 10/06 just because. And I already have an eviction notice an I’m disabled missing my left leg above the knee and permanently on crutches. I can’t just go work. This place is not helpful an only here for the money not actually helping people. DONT USE THIS JOKE OF A PLACE FOR ANYTHING.

2 months agoThis team was a huge help with my disability. Remember that disability will take a long time even with a lawyer. They will help you with each step and offer as much hand holding as you need. I needed a lot of hand holding.

5 months agoUsed to be a decent firm. They do not follow through, leave messages at SSI instead of talking to an agent, they say they will call you back and weeks go by, and the most recent my reconsideration was rejected a month ago and I had to go find out myself because the office didn’t know. Don’t fall prey to them asking you to fill out a packet of what they will do to help to then be told “we don’t do it that way anymore.” An agent at SSI says yesterday “We have no record of your attorney ever calling. Why are you? This typically done by the attorney. “
