2 months agoI lost 30k because of them. They don't explain things or even give advice either. I got into a big depression due to my mothers illness. She left an investment account in my name for me, they said it needed to be split up. I found out it didn't since it was in my name, which they knew, so 30k is gone.

6 years agoMy family hired Jennifer to deal with my mother’s guardianship after a severe stroke. On the surface she was very professional and her space is quite nice. I felt during the process Jennifer would offer very generic advice and often led the conversations to be long and not go anywhere. As a family we were in distress and did not know about the process at all. I feel like she was happy to milk the clock at $250 an hour. I remember getting her bill and feeling the value she provided did not match up. What I feel most disappointed about with her service was that she was well aware that when establishing a new guardianship there is a three month follow up submission of a budget and care plan. It has been a couple months since we established the guardianship and I am gearing up for the three month review. I contacted her and said “Can we please book a session to go over my questions and make sure I fill the forms in properly?” To which she responded: “Hi Andrea, I am sorry but I do not do one-time sessions for these cases as there are so many complicated factors that it is never just as easy as filling out a document. Thanks, Jennifer” I couldn’t believe it. Here we had spent thousands of dollars on her services. Told her all the details of our case. She is now the only lawyer familiar with the case. Never did I have a conversation with Jennifer about her inability to help me any further after the initial guardianship was established. That seems like a really important point to bring up. I would have never hired someone who was unwilling to help with the whole process...especially the three month review. I feel she should have made it CLEAR from the beginning. Now I’m left scrambling to find a new lawyer and will have to further explain all the nuances and details of my case just to fill out this paperwork...it’s extremely inconvenient during a stressful time where I am the full time care giver for my disabled mother. Anyway from my experience if you’re looking for someone to handle your guardianship case I would keep looking. Andrea Rose

6 years agoJennifer helped me with guardianship for my brother. Everything went smooth. She was very helpful. And in response to the review that was concerned about the three month review -This also went well. I didnt need to book an appt or meet with her. She submitted all the documents and filed. Easy!

a year agoMs. Nugent and her staff were very kind and professional. I only went in for a consult, which is all I needed but I found her to be very helpful and she answered all my questions. Highly recommend.
