11 months agoI would give them a zero if I could. I thought they really cared and helped people I was totaly wrong. Matt Taylor and Abby are the worst people they agreed to terminate our lease and we were tricked we never signed anything we never even talked about terminating after a year and half battle with Townhouse Square apts why in the world in court last mintue changes literally as the court was going and the Judge enforced it (this is a corrupt system) terminate my lease? DONT USE THESE PEOPLE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE ON THE STREETS THEY DONT CARE THEY LIE AND ARE HEARTLESS HUMANS. The eviction was not suppose to show up on our records in the agreement but it still does Matt Taylor doesn't even response to emails about this how after terminating my lease agreeing to take an eviction on my record suppose to move. CORRUPTION AT ITS FINEST. DONT USE THESE PEOPLE THEY WILL SCREW YOU OVER IF ITS THEIR TURN TO LOSE. THEY ARE CORRUPT THE JUDGE WAS CORRPURT AND YOU WE BE ON THE STREETS LIKE MY WIFE, MY SON, MY DOG AND MYSELF. THANKS FOR MAKING US HOMELESS WHEN ALL YOU HAD TO DO WAS TELL MY APTS TO ACCEPT THE MONEY THEY REFUSED. DONT USE THESE PEOPLE.

2 years agoTheir mission is noble. Office staff is experienced. Someone said there might be a couple visitor parking spots on the north side; otherwise you pay to park. The disabled ramp is on the north side, but there is no door button so good luck with the door. There is an elevator near the locked restrooms & the drinking fountains on both floors. No coffee. The building looks cool, straight out of the 70s, with lots of wood interior, a pebble stone feel on the main floor, very high lobby ceilings & lots of narrow, over-sized windows. But there are no seats in public areas (of course, being downtown...). The lobby of this office has seats, a side table & a public resource binder, full of information, like child safety, shelters, etc... There are two meeting rooms - one has an interior window, but the one on the east side does not have any windows. Saw a weird thing, one male staff member in very loose bottoms went in the windowless room to meet with a supremely desperate somewhat attractive homeless woman with no money & no phone (she said). They were only in there a short time. Overall though, the place was welcoming. They have a bathroom key for the building. Please consider writing a grant for this small organization to have undercover security, in the form of a greeter, janitor or whatever. Or please consider volunteering as such, & creating the position. Their mission statement is harmless. After all, who could be opposed to people helping people. Yet there was an undercurrent of needing more security. Maybe a lot of crazies come in seeking help. Very simple, clear rules of behavior are posted in a courteous fashion. They might not be making the best use of space. Please consider donating door security hardware here for the front door so it chimes because right now the old fashioned doorbell is too loud.

3 years agoCarl is one of the most kind and patient people I met on my journey through a landlord hell. Not only did he humanize my emotions, he did everything he could make sure my rights weren't being violated with grace and class. I had a wonderful experience with NW Justice project in an unfortunate situation. Also, shout out to receptionist Aurora. A wonderful person, with exceptional listening skills. Thank you.

2 years agoI have a friend that's been calling every single day since November and not once is he getting through. All the while his ex is ruining his life filing false restraining order to keep him from his daughter. There has to be a better way out here for him to be able to fight against this situation. I really feel sorry for thit little girl who can't even see her brother. Judge said for the mom to take her to her brother's graduation and of course SHE DID NOT! Please help my friend!

3 years agoGot help a few years ago from them. But when it was time for court, my lawyer Lisa was gone. I reached back out to her on this current situation. She replied and emailed it to all of her partners. They told me to reach out to a new program on civil liberties. I did. Neither one can or will help with this situation. Its unfortunate that I am no longer consider a person in society.
