4 months agoMy experience with TCNF, specifically Scott Sell and Erin Daniels, morphed into a long term legal relationship where they represented me in two different disability cases, each with favorable outcomes. The initial case to apply for SSDI benefits and a second case against a Long Term Disability Insurance Co (LTD). After four long years, the TCNF team had to endure many challenges and changes with Social Security, changes to disability law and more. Together, we endured government shutdowns, different presidents, mass layoffs within Social Security and a world pandemic. I had to endure these things with a fractured neck, loss of feeling my hands, loss of employment and loss of my dignity. It was an all-time low having to call TCNF for assistance on filing for SSDI benefits. It's not who I am but I had to do it to survive, honestly. Let me tell you: Calling them changed my life for the better, forever...It took time and patience but I am glad I made that call! A few months after my initial call to TCNF, I was having my usual monthly SSDI check-in with Erin when I mentioned a situation I was in with my long term disability insurance company. She introduced me to her colleague Scott Sell. Scott reviewed my situation and represented me, bringing a case to court which ended with a favorable settlement. It was in these years that I got to know Scott, observing his strategic methodology he applied to my case. Every decision that was made was done together as a team. He shared strategy, tactics and communicated with me every step of the way. He took my "what-if" scenarios and played them out with me to conclusion which helped me understand the logic behind decisions that were made in the case. He guided me and I made the decisions...This is how it should work. When I was feeling despair, Scott would tell me to hang in there. He really believed in me, my case and my life situation that put me here in the first place. We all know the feeling "No one will believe me...No one will hear me...No one will care." That is how I felt when I could no longer work in the position I held for 30+ years. Medical providers documented everything but these days, the "care" for the patient can often go by the wayside. A year after the LTD settlement, Scott took my ongoing Federal SSDI case to a hearing before a Federal Judge this spring which ended with a favorable decision. Scott believed me, Scott listened to me and Scott cared about me. Scott wasn't the only one, either. His team and associates at TCNF each had a part in the outcome of my cases. The real gift of TCNF is that the partners at the firm employ the right people with the right knowledge that combine together to make the right team. This team really cares! I have no words to convey what they did for me. All I have is deep gratitude for believing, listening and caring. Thank you Scott, Erin and everyone at TCNF.

After having been involved in a hit and run accident on my bicycle they diligently covered every aspect of the management of the entire process. I couldn’t be more satisfied with the outcome and their attention to detail. The professionalism and care they took to see that all aspects of the case were identified and addressed allowed me to focus on my recovery. Amazing team!

He was referred to me by another local attorney when I became disabled and realized I couldn't competently navigate the complicated systems and processes alone. He and Susan have been fantastic to work with. Once they're on your team, you can have confidence they're managing everything that needs to happen, even during extended periods where here may not be much contact. My final result after three plus long years has been positive, and I credit that to Scott's knowledge and experience in this area. Don't try to manage this process yourself-you need Scott.
