a year agoI was involved in a bike accident in which I was hit head on in a protected bike lane. I sustained serious injuries that required extensive medical care for the next year. Initially I was nervous about hiring a lawyer and wasn't sure if it was necessary. After speaking with a close friend who was also struck on his bike by a motor vehicle and had success with Michael I choose to speak to him as well. I spoke with a assistant immediately and then was patched over to Michael directly. After taking on my case, I was always cared for by Michael's team for the entire 14 months it took to resolve. They would respond to questions immediately and thoroughly. I never had to haggle with insurance agents or worry about if a property or medical claim was filed correctly. Michael's office handled everything. I have never felt more worry free, which allowed me the space and time to heal from the accident. At every moment in the case Michael and his team were smart, effective and courteous. He got me the MAXIMUM amount in my settlement which was triple what we had originally discussed. He is a wonderful lawyer and a great human being. This particular accident had me questioning if I would ever ride my bike safely in Portland again. a year agoI would give Mike Colbach 1000000 stars if I could. I highly recommend him to anyone needing a personal injury lawyer. When I initially was looking for a lawyer, I was still reeling from the events of the accident and symptoms of my concussion. I called multiple offices that either promised a call back and didn't follow up, or put me through a phone tree that just led to voicemail.
