2 months agoA friend of mine went through a divorce. She hired Sarah Brown as her lawyer, expecting a swift resolution. Instead, the lawyer prolonged the process with more obstacles, with nine months of providing more documents and paying high fees, my friend agreed to a very rough settlement. Throughout the process, the lawyer disregarded all evidence of child alienation, prioritizing profits over justice. The experience had a profoundly disempowering effect on a woman who already struggled due to abuse.

8 months agoJessy was phenomenal. My ex-husband was extremely difficult to work with during the divorce process. To put it politely, he was stubbornly of the opinion that he should have his cake and eat it too. Through the entire process, Jessy made me feel safe. When he came in with a last minute curve ball, she jumped on it and put in as much time as was needed to develop the strongest response possible. Every time. She was incredibly sympathetic, reassuring, and personable, but she also set realistic expectations and gave it to me straight when I needed it. I felt a little less helpless and alone when she walked me through each step. She really felt like a shield for me, and thanks to her I managed to get a fair settlement out of someone whose idea of fair is whatever works out best for him.
