7 months agoI recently attempted to resolve an issue with our HOA, but instead of handling the matter themselves, the board chose to involve their attorney, Jason Grosz. The interaction that followed was unacceptable. During the call, Mr. Grosz repeatedly talked over me, dismissed my questions, and conducted himself in an unnecessarily combative and unprofessional manner. His behavior made it impossible to have a reasonable or productive conversation. The call deteriorated to the point where the only way to stop the escalating hostility was to end the call entirely. For a homeowner paying monthly dues, it is extremely concerning to be met with this level of disrespect from an individual who is supposed to be providing a professional service on behalf of the HOA. I left the conversation feeling intimidated, disregarded, and completely disrespected. This is not the standard of conduct any homeowner should be expected to tolerate. If Mr. Grosz represents the HOA, then the HOA should be fully aware that his approach reflects directly on them. Treating homeowners in this manner is not only inappropriate—it is unsustainable. No community thrives when its representatives choose aggression over professionalism. I expect the board to take this feedback seriously and to ensure that interactions with homeowners—whether conducted by the board or by their legal representatives—are handled with basic professionalism, respect, and accountability moving forward.

8 months agoUnreasonable Fees & 36-Day Delay to Release Lien Rating: 1 Star UPDATE: I am a homeowner subject to collections by this firm, not a client. My experience involved what I believe to be predatory billing and negligence. Unreasonable Fees: They turned a ~$300 HOA balance into a total financial burden of nearly $4,000. On May 14, 2024, alone, the ledger shows they hit me with FIVE separate 'collection fees' totaling $1,296 in a single day. Fee Churning: It appears they charged me attorney fees just for calling to ask questions about my bill. I was penalized simply for trying to understand the debt. This aggression contributed to a financial crisis that forced me into bankruptcy. Negligence: Most critically, after I paid their demand in full via certified funds on November 4, 2024, they refused to release the lien on my home for 36 days (until Dec 10). Because of this laziness, my HOA continued to treat me as a delinquent neighbor and refused to speak with me for weeks after the debt was paid. They were quick to charge fees, but incredibly slow to do their job once they had my money.

12 months agoJason Grosz has been completely unprofessional in his role as HOA counsel. He repeatedly refuses to answer direct homeowner questions, dismissing concerns with “I disagree” rather than providing clear, accurate guidance. His conduct has been biased and costly to the community. Instead of helping resolve issues, he has increased legal fees while avoiding accountability. As a homeowner who expects transparency and professionalism, I have been deeply disappointed with his performance. I’d file a complaint with the firm but the Google reviews speak volumes

5 months agoHad a good experience with this debt collector Erika bushman was awesome to work with very nice and friendly always professional and very helpful thank you for letting me settle and thank you for getting my garnishment off quickly
