4 months agoThis service used to be great. But I will repeat what many others have already shared. I called to get a referral for a specific issue. The 1st lawyer I called 4 times and sent an email, their office staff just made excuses and never got back to me. The 2nd lawyer never called me back after leaving 3 messages. I won't bother getting a 3rd referral. Why does the service even exist if the Lawyers in your Program don't even respond to people? Just close the doors already.

5 months agohere is what was said ... provide any relevant and admissible new evidence. The court rules only allow you one opportunity to file a written response to such a motion, and you did that with your March 9 filing. Furthermore, your accommodation motion provides no evidence of your claimed ""disability"". And your own claims in that regard seem totally inconsistent with your apparent ability to quickly generate and then file multiple, extremely long documents with the help of an Artificial Intelligence drafting program (which I contend is inappropriate). Furthermore, your accommodation motion provides no evidence of your claimed disability. And your own claims in that regard seem totally inconsistent with your apparent ability to quickly generate and then file multiple, extremely long documents with the help of an Artificial Intelligence drafting program (which I contend is inappropriate). The Oregon State Bar’s Client Assistance Office closed my RPC 8.4(a)(7) complaint in four business days without investigation or explanation and concluded there was no misconduct. That outcome does not change the text of RPC 8.4(a)(7), which prohibits “knowingly intimidat[ing] or harass[ing] a person because of that person’s…disability in the course of representing a client,” nor does it alter the content of the March 26, 2026 email attacking my disability status and my use of assistive technology in direct response to an ADA motion. The gap between what the rule says and how it is being enforced is exactly the systemic concern SO the State Bar own rule, they don't follow. and by doing so they allow , and intimidate and Harass Pro disabled to stand up in court Even the complaint get closed 3 day they fail their own rules and their own don't apply. would you allow this action please comment and let me know

6 months agoThe first call i made, she didn’t give me her name, but i told her i specifically i wanted someone where i knew there was no connections to family ties or such. Since i know people are doing that. I tried to find local lawyers. However they told me to go to the state bar. And i get told it HAS to be the person from salem. I told them i have family in this so i want someone from different towns. However she refused & hung up. So i call again, and right away “you cant do that”. Yes i can. Anyways i will be contacting the higher ups above the state bar since they are ALSO refusing to help.

4 months agoseems the modest means program is also some sort of scam i make under 25k a year and I got denied. I don't understand what the income guidelines are supposed to be or how they help. doesn't seem like they help. and god forbid a lawyer actually do pro bono work.
