5 years agoWashington County charged my 20-year-old daughter with first degree sexual abuse among other charges, they intimidated my daughter during intake saying she was going to spend many years in prison. John is an excellent professional attorney who defends and fights for his client with passion and dedication. the resolution of the case was that Washington County dropped all sexual abuse charges without going to trial thanks to his professionalism and hard work in investigating the case, interviewing all witnesses and the outstanding defense he shows in the courtroom. I strongly recommend John if you're facing criminal charges. He's great lawyer and a kind person!

3 years agoNot Guilty! I found myself in a horrible situation being falsely accused for something that could have ruined all my hard work and my reputation. I would have lost everything. I prayed and through an amazing process that I believe was at the work of God, I was led to and hired Mr. Gutbezahl. I had called many other attorneys to interview and many didn't even want to take up the case especially being that it was in Washington County. John was not scared, and he was honest from the start and we both knew that it was going to be a tough case, but he did his due diligence, prepared me for any outcome, but in the end, he was able to help the Judge see the lies and manipulation and we won our case in court. I can't recommend you hire John Gutbezahl enough! You get what you pay for in life and he is worth it! Thank you John for your patients, persistence, and resolve in helping me get my life back. 7 years agoIf you find yourself in a situation requiring criminal defense legal representation, I highly suggest you look no further than John Gutbezahl. My loved one, a 31-year-old black man was charged with Murder in Multnomah County. Statistically speaking, before we ever looked into hiring defense, it seemed the odds were stacked against him and our outlook on what was to come was grim to say the least. John was a beacon of hope to our family during this time. He states the facts, sets clear expectations, and clearly cares for the individuals and families of those he represents. His private investigator is badass too! During trial, John blew us away with his trial defense. There are really no accurate words to describe the intelligence, wit, and dedication, and determination of this man. You can guarantee yourself John will defend you with integrity, perseverance, knowledge, analytical skills, and a courtroom demeanor that sets the bar high. John made it absolutely clear before trial that it really could go either way, but he felt we had a strong defense and a good shot and coming out victorious. His truly caring personality made things much less stressful on our family during the scariest time of our lives. When it came time for the verdict 10 jurors voted not guilty and my loved one was acquitted of the charge! Even had we lost at trial, I would have felt content with whom we chose to represent him knowing he really gave it all he had. Some cases are winnable, some are just not. You can rest assured that no matter how daunting your case may seem, John, is the absolute best!
