Custody and support issues are overwhelming, especially when your children are involved. Barbara came into my case late, and it was messy and complicated. 8 months agoBarbara is fantastic, you can tell she cares deeply for her clients and wants to do right by them. After my ex-husband became good personal friends with a family law attorney, I was in a terrible and vulnerable position. I needed someone to be on my side as my ex attempted to use the court system to further his lies about and abuse of me. I met with several lawyers who seemed to expect that I uproot my life or scale back my expectations in order to make “winning” easier for them. Then I met Barbara. She made me feel like I had permission to fight for what I felt was right for my son and me, even if it would be a harder road. She worked diligently to resolve a years-long ordeal that was destroying my mental health and relationship with my child. She remained professional and poised while dealing with my ex and his awful attorney’s attempts to create drama at every turn, day and night. Her staff is awesome as well! It very much felt like a team effort to get my and my son’s futures back on track.

8 months agoBarbara Aaby is hands down the best family law attorney I have ever had (I have had several). I wish that I found Ms. Aaby at the beginning of my court case because I feel as if it wouldn't have been drug out for the years it has been if I had obtained her first. My case is probably one of the most difficult Barbara has ever dealt with to say the least. My family and I are so thankful and extremely grateful that god led me to find Barb. She helped me and pushed me to be a better me and better yet, a better mom. She does not sugar coat things which is honestly what you need to hear when you are dealing with people that I have dealt with. She is genuine, loyal and VERY SMART. She KNOWS what she is doing! Trust me, she knows. Kristina, her legal assistant is also the best legal assistant I have ever had the experience to work with during my complex case.
