4 months agoI first contacted Pacific after my relationship was entering into an unhealthy dynamic for advice on custody. Three months later, when I retained their services, they had kept the original notes on my file and were ready to start working on my case in short order. Pacific also didn't pressure me to immediately go into arbitration or court. They listened to what I wanted to do and were understanding of the particular issues of my case. I would highly recommend that anyone in a possible custody suit talk to a Pacific Cascade representative to see if they would be a good fit for your case.

5 months agoI'm rating a 2 because my representation here did "win" two of three court cases for me so that is obviously the point of hiring an attorney but otherwise this would be a zero situation for me. I can't help but wonder how much better the outcomes could have been with a firm that didn't just relentlessly bill me and also ignore me. The first attorney I had didn't give a single crap about me or my case and I told him just that to give him a chance to convince me he would fight for me. Nothing changed so I asked for a new attorney. The new attorney was definitely better but as the years went on, it would take me WEEKS to get any kind of response to emails that I needed semi-immediate responses too, if I heard back from them at all. She was always running late, always discombobulated, always complaining she had too much on her books, always telling me she'd bring something important up in court and then not. The communication was abysmal. I couldn't even get her paralegal to respond at one point. As I was still a client and still had my attorney on retainer but couldn't get a single person to help me with my legal needs, I fired them and retained services elsewhere. Don't bother. Your money is precious and attorneys are expensive so find someone that is worth you spending money on.

2 months agoThey were fine. I was assigned a partner ($$$) to get a post-marital document signed. Literally just needed an attorney to sign it with me. $2500 retainer turned into $1400 when all was said and done including a $200 fee to "close the file". Pretty sure that's not a normal thing. Also took over two months and a couple follow-up emails to even have them issue my retainer refund. My husband's local lawyer issued his refund within a couple weeks of concluding their business, so unsure why it took so long. My husband's lawyer also noticed that my attorney's name was spelled wrong on one of the documents and that we only signed two out of four necessary documents, so that all had to be amended. When I'm paying a lawyer $600 an hour for hardly any work, I expect those mistakes to be caught.
