4 months agoI am writing this review as a party who is in litigation with a client of Bill Fig. We have been immersed in this litigation since March, 2022. I am pro se (meaning acting as my own attorney). 4 years is a long time. Most people become intimidated much sooner (even other attorneys) and settle. It's not that I don't worry about the risks, it's just that my principals force me to ride this out. Fig is a relentless fighter, as I - but it will be your money helping him build his reputation. Three years were spent waiting for the appeals court to rule on Fig's appeal of a judge's denial of his motion. Finally the appeals court agreed with ‘none’ of his argument. Instead of winning money for his client, the appeals court awarded me $26K (it's on the record). You won’t ever see this loss on Fig’s record, because knowing that failure was certain, attorneys will substitute the newest firm hire to take over and take the loss. Attorneys want bluster, and often do so by contributing articles in legal publications. That’s nice for those who are capable of doing a 'book report'! Remember those? Simply read the statutes and write an article about what they say. Exactly who is that helpful for? It certainly sounds impressive! There’s a good chance, if you hire him, that he won't end up going against another true advocate, and you will do just fine. It’s been fun watching how easily I can cause him to lose his cool. Let him deny this review, it’s all on the court website. The firm has over 30 attorneys. As a team, and with today's AI resources (even the free ones) this firm should be able to handle any case, adequatetly.

6 years agoI was fortunate to have Tab Wood of Sussman Shank represent me in an automobile-related suit. I highly recommend Tab and the firm, as he was excellent to communicate with, always took the time to answer my questions, and handled my case with great skill. I have had poor representation in the past, and was worried that I would get the same treatment of unanswered emails, lack of updates after critical decisions, and the general feeling that the attorney didn’t have time to discuss my case with me. This experience with Sussman Shank was night and day, I am so glad that I had Tab to represent me. He was everything you’d want in an attorney - kind, professional, communicative, and willing to explain your case and his strategy to you. If you are looking for a lawyer, this is the firm you want on your side.

11 years agothey have no attorneys for less than 300.00. I hired them to start a s corp and write a construction contract for me. it cost me over 3000.00 and still had to do file paperwork with the state. why a partner attorney was tasked with establishing a one person s corp is beyond me. go some place else; get more for your dollar.
